The Adhika Story
Our Story
From the sacred land of Nathdwara to your kitchen.
Brand Origin
Born in the Land of Krishna
Adhika Organics was born from a simple belief: the food we eat should be as pure as nature intended.
From the holy city of Nathdwara in Rajasthan — home to the sacred Shreenathji temple — we bring you ghee made the way it has been for centuries. Our founder grew up watching Gwalas, the traditional cowherds, tend to their cows with love and devotion — the same way Lord Krishna once did in this very land.
What began as a personal search for the ghee of his childhood became a mission: to share the real, unbroken bilona tradition with families across India.
Our Cows
From Sacred Gir Cows to Your Table
Our ghee comes from Gir breed cows of the Nandvansh lineage — believed to be descendants of the cows tended by Lord Krishna himself.
These cows roam freely in the pastures around Nathdwara, grazing on natural vegetation. They are never stall-fed, never given hormones or antibiotics. Their milk is rich in A2 beta-casein protein, which is gentler on digestion and closer to what our ancestors consumed for thousands of years.
To us, every cow is not livestock — she is family. And the milk she gives is treated as sacred.
The Bilona Process
Six unhurried steps. No shortcuts. The way ghee has been made for centuries.
Freely Grazed Gir Cows
Indigenous Gir cows roam open pasture in Nathdwara, eating natural feed — no hormones, no antibiotics.
Fresh A2 Milk Collection
Hand-collected raw A2 milk from the morning milking, gathered in steel pails — never industrial pumps.
Curd Setting (Dahi)
Milk is gently cultured overnight in earthen pots, setting into thick, tangy curd full of probiotics.
Hand Churning — Bilona Method
Curd is hand-churned with a wooden bilona rod — slow, manual, the source of our ghee's distinct aroma and grain.
Makkhan (Butter)
Pure white-gold butter is gathered, washed, and rested — the heart of true bilona ghee.
Slow Boiled Pure Ghee
Makkhan is slowly simmered on low flame until aromatic, amber, granular ghee — and nothing else.
What Makes Us Different
Every detail of how we make Adhika ghee is a deliberate choice — not a shortcut.
-
A2 Protein, not A1
From indigenous Gir cows — easier to digest and closer to what our ancestors consumed.
-
Hand-Churned, not Machine-Separated
Curd is churned by hand with a wooden bilona — never cream-separated like industrial ghee.
-
Freely Grazed, not Stall-Fed
Our cows roam open Nathdwara pastures and eat natural vegetation — never confined or force-fed.
-
No Preservatives or Chemicals
Pure ghee, nothing else. No hormones, no antibiotics, no shelf-life additives.
-
Sacred Nandvansh Lineage
Our cows trace back to Nandvansh — the lineage tended by Lord Krishna himself.
-
Small-Batch Artisanal
Every batch is made by hand by our Gwalas — not produced in industrial volume.
